HOW STORIES CAN BE PRESENTED

Simple, Authentic and Evidence-Based

A good institutional story should make clear who is involved, what happened, what was learned and what evidence supports the account.

The presentation should remain respectful and avoid exaggeration, unsupported claims or representations that cannot be verified.

The ContextWhere and why the activity or experience took place.
The PeopleWho participated, using only information appropriate and authorised for publication.
The ExperienceWhat happened, what was learned and what changed, where evidence is available.
The EvidenceRelevant photographs, records, quotations or other verified supporting material.
VOICES & EXPERIENCES

Let Experience Speak Clearly

Stories are most useful when they preserve the voice and dignity of the people whose experiences are being documented.

Community Voices

First-hand perspectives can help explain how an activity is understood within the community.

Learning Journeys

Progress can be documented through practical learning, participation and reflection.

Local Knowledge

Stories can preserve relevant knowledge and experiences that contribute to community learning.

EDITORIAL PRINCIPLES

Responsible Storytelling

The Stories section should remain an accurate institutional record rather than a collection of promotional claims.

DignityRepresent people and communities respectfully.

TransparencyClearly distinguish planned activities from completed or documented activities.
STORY ARCHIVE

A Growing Institutional Record

As verified stories become available, they can be organised by programme area, theme, date or location so visitors can understand the development journey over time.

Stories will be added as they are documented and verified

The current page provides the framework for the Stories section. Individual stories should be published only when their source material, photographs, names and programme details have been confirmed.

i
